How long is the recovery time after CO2 laser?

Expect 5-7 days of social downtime. The skin becomes red and may be swollen for the first few days, after which a thin crust forms and comes away naturally. After 7-10 days most people can wear make-up again.
How many treatments are needed?

For most people 1-3 treatments are enough, depending on the skin concern and the result you want. Deep acne scars may require more treatments. We always make an individual assessment at the consultation.
Does the treatment hurt?

We apply a numbing cream before the treatment, which is left to work for around 45 minutes. During the treatment most people feel only a sensation of heat. Afterwards the skin can feel tender, rather like sunburn.
When will I see results?

You will see an improvement after the first treatment, once the skin has healed. The full effect is reached after 3-6 months, when collagen production has had time to build up new tissue.
