What age is required for ear piercing?

We pierce children's ears from around six months of age with a parent's consent. Children under 16 must always have a parent present. We always assess the child's maturity and willingness to co-operate.
Which materials do you use?

We use only hypoallergenic materials: titanium, surgical steel (316L) or gold. Titanium is recommended for first piercings as it is the kindest to the skin and minimises the risk of an allergic reaction.
How long does healing take?

Earlobes heal in 6-8 weeks. Cartilage (helix, tragus) takes 3-6 months. A nose piercing takes 2-4 months. While it heals it is important to follow the aftercare instructions carefully.
How do I look after my new piercing?

Clean it with saline solution twice a day. Avoid touching the piercing with dirty hands. Do not twist the jewellery. Avoid swimming pools and baths while it heals. We give you detailed instructions after the treatment.
